What Do I Bring To My Senior Photoshoot?

Get ready for the ultimate list of what to bring for your senior photoshoot! Ready, set, go!

General Needs

  • Water - Self explanatory (stay hydrated!)

  • phone - also self explanatory

  • Makeup - if you wear makeup, make sure to bring anything that might need to be touched up mid-session!

  • compact mirror - if we don't have access to a bathroom or a mirror, make sure to bring your own to do outfit checks and makeup touch ups!

  • change of clothes - if you have a session with multiple outfits, bring them! Try everything on the night before your session to make sure everything fits and looks the way you want it to.

Graduation Regalia (extremely important!! do you have to bring everything? no. but I would highly recommend it just in case)

  • gown

  • cords

  • stolls

  • hoods

  • tassel

  • cap

Celebration Themed props!

  • champagne - If you want to spray some champagne at the end of your session (it's always the last thing i do because of the mess!), please do!

  • confetti - Nothing says "yay, i'm graduating!" like a confetti explosion! just make sure it's either biodegradable, or leave some time for pickup.

  • glitter - Same as confetti! glitter can be super fun to blow off of your hands or your cap :)

My suggestions in case you need some inspo for personality pics!

  • cowboy hat/boots

  • dance shoes

  • certificates / certifications

  • sports gear / balls

  • Books

  • flowers

  • jerseys

  • balloons

  • sunglasses

  • Your favorite food

  • lipstick

  • polaroid camera

  • a diet coke

  • baby pictures of yourself

  • A cake and candles

  • your favorite record

  • an instrument you play

  • Champagne glasses

  • bubblegum

  • a journal

  • a textbook

  • sheet music

  • photo booth strips

  • art supplies

  • anything related to what you're going to school for

  • papers you've written

  • a lighter to set those papers on fire

  • a magic wand

  • A meaningful piece of jewelry

  • Anything you're obsessed with

Things I would not recommend bringing

  • your actual diploma - I feel like this might be self-explanatory, but you probably shouldn't bring the one piece of paper that proves you graduated on it. Keep that safe!!

Now, If you don't have some inspiration after reading this list, I'm not sure what to tell you. My brain is a little tired. but, that being said, everyone wants something a little different for their senior photos. Reach out to me & we can get started :)
